Is Woodwelt Watches a Scam or is it Legit?

Can anyone tell me if Woodwelt Watches at www.woodwelt.com is a scam or is it legit? I would like to purchase a few of the watches and support their environmental charitable effort. But, with so many online scams, I would like to ensure I am supporting a legit charity than lining the pocket of scammers. If anyone has information about this Woodwelt Watches, please leave a comment or review below. Thank you.

I received the teak faced with teak inserts on a black metal band and bezel. This watch is beautiful, it has been assembled with much care and attention to detail. I am extremely happy with this watch. Awesome Christmas gift from an awesome friend. DEFINITELY NOT A SCAM.

We ordered 5 watches and was told 4 to 6 weeks delivery. Over 8 weeks after multiple calls and emails plus a bogus tracking number, we have determined we were scammed and plan to report it as such.

Are they a scam in that you won’t get the watch? No. You will receive the watches that you order. However the claims of being all wood is a lie. I have the lunar and most of the band is metal and it’s all scratched up. They don’t make any of the watches themselves, they are all sourced from China, they all say made in China, and you can buy them online through AliBaba under the name Bobobird. So they are a scam in that they lie about where the watches come from, how the watches are made, and the quality. The reason they do these fake closing sales is because they get a whole bunch of people to buy a whole bunch at once, they get a volume discount under the guise of “closing/final sale”, and then split them all up. So they say they’re closing in the sale is gonna last 10 more days, 5000 people by the watches, so they buy them in Bulk and split them up.

I thought their story was nice and looked at the watches on and off for a few weeks. Their nice looking. I know wooden watches won’t hold up to daily use and pictured it breaking with little pieces strewn all over at the must in opportune time. Their not industrial their delicate little pieces of wood. Still nice looking. I bought a few just to have, maybe I’d never even use them. I decided to buy one of each to complete a collection. Some with more design than others but none the less kind of a novelty. Something to put in a shadow box for display. Ok, about $600 invested. The orders, 3 were placed in late August and according to them (customer service) 2 of the orders, 7 of the 14 watches are in Texas at this point. 2/3s of the way. We’ll see, UPS is tracking very slowly! I hope I get them. It’s a shame that it’s just a story I’m guessing at this point about the manufacturing process but nevertheless someone put them together very carefully. I hope it wasn’t child labor.
I still think their nice. I hope I get them and I wish the person who put them together could know I appreciate their hard work.

My daughter ordered me one over a month ago and it finally arrived, and while I liked it, the minute hand was detached and basically spun around. I proved this to them and they say they are sending me another. At the time I was impressed with how they handled that then saw their discount for 5 of their watches for CHEAP, so I ordered them, total for the 5 was ~ $125. After I placed the order (just 10 days ago) I found out they don't make any of their watches, they come from China. Do some research. You can find their watches on Alibaba, a China portal.
I am upset they are not who they said they were and I am contemplating asking for a refund. I don't like being scammed, they are definitely a scam.

I just got mine. It’s a nice watch, I wouldn’t pay $140 for it, but the closing sale made it like $45 and I snagged one. It’s cool, they postEd videos all the time before they closed and seemed real
