Just got a scam email supposedly from PayPal saying I bought CoinBase.

The phone number they used was 888-487-3123

Yes, this scam happened to me and I stupidly gave 'paypal' access to my computer so they could wire transfer the 'funds' back to me.
They wired in an amount 10x greater than the original amount, and asked me to go to the bank to wire transfer funds back to them to correct error 'or I will lose my job.'
Fortunately, I caught on and was able to cancel the transfer.
Very persuasive guy.
