Is Ronald Porszt Law Office a Scam? Review of ronaldporsztlaw.com

I want to know if Ronald Porszt Law Office located at ronaldporsztlaw.com is a scam or is it legitimate? The website claims they have been delivering a broad range of legal services from their home base in Vancouver to clients across Canada, and beyond for seven decades, but their website(ronaldporsztlaw.com) was created/registered 13 days ago for the first time by someone in Iceland. This makes the website suspicious and would like to have more information before I consider using their services.

I got the same letter. Didn't believe it for a second but thought I'd look up the lawyer. DONE.
Thank you,
Karen Kalkstein

I have received a letter from Ronald Porszt Law Office in Vancouver regarding some unclaimed life insurance policy worth over several million dollars. They ask for my
consent to be in partnership with him for the claim of this policy benefit etc. The policyholder has a last name as mine (Betzer) yet they are telling me they have been unable to locate any of his relatives. Strange as there are many Betzers in the USA.
Without going into any more detail I think this is a scam and wondering what you think.
On top of that there is no signature on this letter and it was mailed in a plain white envelope with no return address. Looks suspicious to me. Bob Betzer, San Diego.

I received a fax (A FAX) from this "law firm" and I've been stringing them along via email making them think they've got a live one. I hope the time they spend replying to me cuts into the time they might be scamming somebody else. (The fax was addressed to somebody who doesn't work here anymore; I created a fake gmail account and have been using that.)

According to the Canadian bar people, Mr. Porszt has been practising since 1984. However, the phone number on the web site is a Toronto number and not the number provided by the bar society.
I think that someone is trying take advantage of a lawyer who doesn't have his own website.
