Online Threat Alerts (OTA) - Alerting you to scams and frauds.
Silverscreen CC located at www.silverscreen.cc is a fraudulent content streaming website. The website which claims that online users can discover the most unique movies of all time, is similar to the fraudulent websites: www.geeker.com, lilplay.com, and tzarmedia.com. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website (Silver Screen) run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have canceled their subscriptions.
They (silverscreen) claim not to charge your credit card for the trial period but will do so anyway, even if you cancel before the trial period is up. Also, they will charge you to cancel your free registration, and will periodical charge your credit card for an undetermined amount of money. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books, and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.
Online user who have already subscribed to silverscreen.cc, are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

I complained to XXXX that the whole deal was fraudulent-- and the gal hung up on me. Plainly, the troops are trained to be robots.Sinhelp.com has already dinged me for $1.You'd think that -- world wide -- bankers would've cut these clowns off.
I thought I was signing up to watch Australian Open - the website was astralianopeneopn.com (ie an extra 'open' which I didn't notice) with logo etc but I ended up on silver screen - my bank contacted me immediately as they tried to take £1 - and my account was blocked until a new card issued. The bank said the company is based in Cyprus and takes a small amount first to get authorised and seemed to know all about them.
Why did y’all charge me
I received a message from infoSMS with the following messageYour number was granted 4,200,000.00 Pounds by MWC. Send by email your contact number and this Pin: MWC197783 to: mwc-gsmwcn.com for detailsI wanted to know if this is legit. Thanks

I received a text message with a link to a site claiming to be Spectrum. They said they were a customer rewards program and for $1.00 I would receive a iPhone xs. The website was hxxp://cvfr.eu. It eventually took me to a site register.silverscreen.cc. I did research and did not give out my information.

If they have your credit card information, you may need to cancel your card and get a new one to prevent unwanted charges.

I cancelled two days before trial period but was worried after reading this page. I noticed that next payment day was supposed to be today.I paid out all money I had on the card (it was debit, fortunately, not credit), and sure enough, I had a message that a payment wasn't successful due to insufficient funds, the amount of 49.99 euro. Had to block that card and ask for new one. They're not getting my money grrrr.
I need the number to this site they took money off my card 😡😠😠.I need the number ASAP
Me too. That's what the problem is.Gonna have to cancel & get a new card I hear.
I would also like a number. They took off so much money from our card too!
Open a dispute with your bank to have your money refunded.
1-844-334-5667. This works from Canada. I have the same problem.

Good thing I checked with my credit card company if Silverscreen has been charging anything to my account, true enough they have charged me 1 British Pound a day for 2 days for a 7 day free trial.Been trying to unsubscribe, it was impossible. Bank advised me to block the credit card and cancel it so they can no longer charge anything to me.Good thing I caught their scam in the nick of time. Dont think I will get refunded for the 2 British pounds that they have charged, nonetheless, reported them to the card fraud department.
Same, they have taken money from my account; how can this be stopped, August 23rd, Twice 24th four times, 31st. Please stop this from happening.
watta scam..I didnt use any of it and they took my money last august 22..is there any chance to get any refund in the bank?
did you sign up for the free trial?, I opened the site and entered my email but did not continue to register when they want to put my cc details.I'm worried that they might still be able to get my cc details and everything.
If you didn't enter your credit card information, they cannot get it.
I had never heard of this site until they raided my credit card. How they got my email address and all my credit card details is a mystery and worrying. Beware of silverscreen cc, they need to be shut down!
I had the same experience. It took a while before a noticed that I was debited every month with USD 40,50 and various smaller amounts in between. It seems lucentfun.com is part of a criminal network that also includes websites like silverscreen.cc and mesiabridge.cc. Somehow they managed to get money from my bank account. I have never registered or visited this website before. I've no idea how they got my bank card info.
How do I remove this from my iPad etc ? Also media bridge. They are taking money from me. How did they find me? Only found out about it when I went into my bank account.
Never heard of them, was in hospital when charges occurred in fact.Seems a lot of various names taking monies from my prepaid credit card.I think I know whom it is running the sites. The people boasted about how they take small amounts at a time though in this case it was $80.Difficult to remove this ransomware.
To whom do I have to direct the e-mail to unsubscribe from Silverscreen.cc and from Funanomie.com
It happened to me. I cancelled my subscription after they took 44 pounds out of my account the first mth yet they managed to take two more payments. My bank has also been useless. Trying to get a refund.

I just noticed that they took almost 80$ from my credit card. I was like searching for what is silverscreen. Thanks for having these sites. I could atleast knew that it’s something fake. I would have misunderstood that it was something else.
I get these texts on my phone all the time. They come in under names of businesses I deal with, like Woolworths or Harvey Norman offering free stuff. I will not give out credit card details to these people EVER. Despite using government websites to have my mobile number taken offline these spammers keep on coming and what is very annoying they get you in by using legitimate businesses as the lead in. How do they get away with it?
I have been charged approximately $80.00 per months for the last two months. I am not happy about this and don't recall subscribing to this.I contacted my bank today and they cancelled my credit card and are issuing me a new one.Apparently this is the easiest way to stop them. There must be some way someone can stop these a*******s from taking innocent people's money?
