Is Paymybook a Scam? Review of the Debt Recovery Website

I received a phone call from a woman named Nicole from Fed checks recovery regarding a textbook rental. She said to give her a call back at 888-808-9004 or to go to www.paymybook.com and make a payment. She claimed to be a debt collector. I think this is a scam. She called from telephone number 702-829-3550. Call your students' college bookstore to find out the true information.

    "I also got this call and was told to go to paymybook.com and the lady asked for my credit card information. Total scam! Should be reported. The caller was 800-979-8917

    "My iPhone registered Scam Likely- they called 4 times back to back and each call was declined. They said they were calling about a textbook rental and I could pay for it on paymybook.com. I have not rented textbooks in over 5 years and each was returned."

    "I got a call and my phone didn't even ring, but it showed I had a voice mail. They did not address me and the woman called herself Nicole, and vaguely mentioned I owed something for a textbook rental and told me to go to www.paymybook.com. I went to the website and put in my last name and phone number and then it said there wasn't any information. The call came from 702-829-3550, but she told me to call back at 888-808-9004."
