Is Cricut Store a Scam? Review of the Online Store

Cricut Store located at cricut-store.com is one of the many fake Cricut online stores claiming to sell Cricut Maker, Circut Explore Air 2, Cricut Joy and Cricut EasyPress products. Online shoppers run the risk of receiving counterfeit goods or nothing at all from the same store. Unsatisfied online users who have shopped on the untrustworthy website are asked to contact their bank or financial institution to have their transactions canceled and money refunded.

All of the above happened to me. Even more, I received a tracking number for UPS and the tracking #says the package was delivered even though it never was! So scary that they even have the ability to hack the ups tracking number!

I had also visited the Cricut.c website, thinking this is a legit Cricut website. There is a legit website and a fraudulent one that is the first to pop up as an "Ad".

I did my thing with the order, it directed me only to PayPal (strange with the only option). As I made payment, it reflected payment to a person's name. Immediately went to my PayPal to cancel the transaction. However they have my email and a password when I created an account. I don't use a crappy password for these types of site (for this very reason) so it doesn't compromise the p/W's I use for banking purposes. So having shared this, change your passwords.

I fell for the same scam. They sent me a confirmation # AlI g with a email that showed my order and everything. I still have not received anything. Tried to go back to website through my email and it goes straight to Google. Very disappointed but lesson learned I guess.

Sadly the fake website is still very much active and just ripped off my daughter by sending nothing and stealing her Money. Paypal is giving us a hard time saying my daughter sent the money so it's her problem. They said my daughter authorized the charge. She authorized a charge to Cricut NOT PAYPAL or some random gmail account.

Same experience. Ordered in the morning on Dec 3rd. Confirmation email wasn't received until later that day and contained a tracking number which reported that the item had been delivered already. 4 hours after the order was placed? Come on. I have CitiCards looking into it but pretty sure I just handed over $100 and my credit card info. :-(

Can confirm that cricut-store.com is a honeypot for stealing debit and credit card info. Tried to take advantage of one of the "deals" on the site and it resulted in multiple purchases in China and me having to lock up my debit card. Never trust an unbelievable deal, lesson learned.

Definitely a scam. Ordered something, the money went to a personal hotmail account. Tracking number was sent the next day showing something delivered before the actual order was placed.
