I received an HMRC scam text message from telephone number +44 7943 990974 that stated: "HMRC: records show that you have pending tax rebate available 14/01/21. To calculate your claim, click here: gov.uk-submit.org." The fake text message is being sent by scammers who are attempting to trick potential victims into visiting the fake HMRC website or government website that steals personal and financial information.
