I purchased the same thing the other day. It said the payment was made to Bian mengmeng. My PayPal does have a record of it so now trying to figure out what to do. I'm a disabled single mom with little money and this makes me mad
How do I go about getting my money back
Currently awaiting refund. "Purchased" Oculus quest 2 bundle (included PC data cord and case) for $139.99 shipping free above $40 purchase.from www.Official-Oculus.shop that supposedly had a 12hr only sale (after timer ran out, it reset 24hrs. For a 12hr ONLY sale, let that sink in). Anyway, looked legit all the way up till I pressed confirm payment. It PayPal someone in Hong Kong, (I paid directly with debit, not via pay pal) on website which you can open account with for future purchases/tracking current orders etc. Said sub total was 138.99 as they removed $40.99 randomly, so total was $99. but I was charged $139.99. to a merchant. However email receipt says I paid so and so in Hong Kong, has my shipping address. No record of what I purchased, just the fact I paid this person. They never responded to my emails, the site itself via customer service responded. My actual paypal account had NO record that this transaction even took place. Though the email was from PayPal. Anyway, 24hrs later, website is gone. I recieve no further updates, cannot log into the account I made with the website. As it took me a minute to realize a NEW identical website was what I was led to. Now www.Official-Oculus.shop. (which I just checked 20 mins ago, it no longer exist either. And is probably why my password and email sign in no longer worked. Cuz same but not same) Anyway, the Oculus will NEVER fall below more than $20 off it's MSRP when actually on sale. So pretty much any sites claiming a $300-$400 device is on sale with an included $150 in accessories for under $200? Yeah, it's safe to say it is fake. Unfortunately like many others hoping to find that deal (cuz they're pricey) I was scammed. Currently waiting for the "seller" to return the money. But won't actually be applied to my account before that. PayPal said could take as quick as 5 days, or as long as a month. Christmas is right around the corner. So I pray the $140 is returned to my account before then.
