I keep receiving the "EU Business Register 2021/2022" unsolicited email below. Why does this EU Business Register company keep sending me emails that I did not sign up for, requesting personal information? My advice to people who have received his unsolicited emails, please do not respond to them, just delete them.

hello, I filled out this form and sent it thinking it was a free registration, then I get an invoice for 995 euros and it doesn't stop sending emails to collect the invoice and threaten to take legal measures. What should I do?

Unfortunately that is the scam. They say "updating is free of charge" in the big print, but the fine print says you have signed up for a 3-year subscription at 990 Euros/year. What I have heard is that if you refuse to pay you may get notices from a lawyer or collection agency but it is owned by the same scammers. This scam has been around for decades, and I have received it repeatedly. I would ignore them.
just ignore them, their paperwork has no validity and any solicitor will discredit their so-called contract, as they are passing themselves off as the genuine EUbusinessregister again they have no credibility, just tell them you will invoice them for the time you have spent dealing with them (perhaps invoice them for $1200)

What to do if you sign it and send it back?

Received this invitation today ... was tempted to sign & post it back. was suspisious about it from the comment "UDATING IS FREE" the implication of course is registering and uploading are not free !Glad I checked through your site as I remember years ago I kept receiving bogus confirmations and Invoices from is or a similar scam organisation.About time someone in Europe shut them down !

Do not pay the invoice, just ignore them.

Just got caught by this company after trading with a Dutch supplier. Thought it was a normal follow up. I didn't read the small prints

Stuur een aangetekende brief met de melding dat je NIET ingaat met de misleidende aanbieding.Grote kans dat je de brief na 6 weken onge-opend terug krijg. Bewaar deze onge-opende enveloppe. Echt niet meer opmaken. Dan zit je veilig voor elke rechtzaak.Send a certified letter stating that you will NOT accept the deceptive offer. There is a good chance that you will receive the letter back unopened after 6 weeks. Keep this unopened envelope. Don't make up anymore. Then you are safe from any lawsuit.
HiI did not realise there was a fee to pay when I signed the form. When I received an invoice I read it carefully and realised that it is written in a very small letters underneath. I emailed them and called them many times to cancel my order as it was made by mistake but it was not possible. Then I emailed to get someone to contact me about the services they provide so I can pay for it. Every time I called them they say your account manager works from home please leave your telephone number and he/she will get back to you asap but nobody called. I have not made payment. I am receiving formal dept. letters now and do not know what to do. How can I pay something I am not sure what is that about.
I am in the same position & now being threatening with legal action in 5 days. Can anyone offer me any advice please?
