Scammers are sending Amazon scam text messages like the one below, claiming the recipients' credit card at Amazon will be charged. If scam text messages then ask potential victims to call 1-833-206-0342, which is a fake Amazon customer or technical support telephone number. The aim of the scammers is to frighten and trick their potential victims into calling them at 18332060342, the fake Amazon telephone number.
"Your Credit Card at AMAZON will be charged $403.58 for your order#118183. Contact Customer Care on 18332060342 if you wish to cancel your order."
