Santan-Fraud Scam and Phishing Text Message - Transaction Attempted

The Santan-Fraud scam text message below, which claims a transaction has been attempted, is being sent by cybercriminals. The phishing text message contains a link that goes to a fake Santander Bank website that steals account credentials, personal, or financial information. Remember, the legitimate Santander Bank website is located at www.santander.co.uk.

If you have been tricked by the Santan-Fraud scam text message into clicking the link in it and submitting your financial information on the fake website that you were taken to, please contact Santander Bank for help.

    Just received this text seems like a scam?

    Had two different texts lately one on my registered number from santander - however the number is spoofed so its not actually santander it said -

    An attempt to add M AJIBOLA was denied. If this was not you please visit:prevent-addon-request.com

    Also had the transaction attempted one to my husband who doesn't bank with santander

    These fraudsters sent this text msg to my phone today:

    Hopefully their poor command of English will raise suspicions well before targets consider responding.
