A few persons have told me that they have received scam telephone calls from a 917 area code claiming their MasterCard, Visa Card credit cards have been locked. Please see the comments below. If you have calls from area code 917, please share experiences with me by leaving a comment below. Area code 917 is a toll-free area code reserved for future use in the United States and Canada, but it seems as if its currently in use or being spoofed.

I received a whats-app call from them. As soon as I picked up the call they started abusing me like anything!! Which was really really traumatizing for me. I was scared!!

August 25, 2020I got one saying they found a parcel from February owed to me.
Spam call from (917) 874-8380 (to number on do not call list)
Some told me they got a call about a "Mr. Warren Buffett" donation.
I got one saying some about: "Your Abandoned Package For Delivery at the Philadelphia..."
