The telephone number, +1-(850)-409-9286, being used in the fake Amazon order confirmation email below is a scam. The fake email ask the recipient to call Amazon customer service at 1-(850)-409-9286, but the number is a fake. The fake number is being used by scammers to trick potential victims into calling them. If they are called, they will trick their potential victims into giving them account credentials, personal and financial information.

Yes, I received an email around Christmas Holidays 2020 confirming an order od a PC sent to a guy that I had never ever known for almost $2,000 including this name. WiIth so many scams, I googled the phone number and found this alert site.
I just received this email today. Is there any way to report it? I don't want others to be conned into giving personal information. :( Some people are just so horrible.
I got it today too! On hold w/Amazon at the moment. Will tell Customer Svcs person I found it was a scam.
