The fake email ask the recipient to call Amazon customer service at 1-(850)-409-9286, but the number is a fake. The fake number is being used by scammers to trick potential victims into calling them.     Yes, I received an email around Christmas Holidays 2020 confirming an order od a PC sent to a guy that I had never ever known for almost $2,000 including this name. WiIth so many scams, I googled the phone number and found this alert site.

      I got it today too! On hold w/Amazon at the moment. Will tell Customer Svcs person I found it was a scam.

    I received 2 of these emails this week. It is a shame that so many people fall for this.
