Online Threat Alerts (OTA) - Alerting you to scams and frauds.
Scammers are contacting potential victims and asking them to call telephone number 02038874052. The scammers pretend to be from the HMRC and claim the persons they are calling are being investigated for tax evasion or avoidance and threaten legal action. But, this is not true and the scammers' aim is to steal their potential victims' personal and financial information. I was called today 8th October 2020 from the number quoted but they said (automation) someone has used your debit card abroad in the sum of 429 pounds and15 cents ( spot the mistake) and if it was not me to press one or ring back on this number I put the phone down and checked for scams
