I knew it was a scam before I even opened the text message to view the whole message. My bank would never send me something like this. Be smart from the start and don’t let the scammers take advantage of you or anyone you know. Pass on this information to everyone you know. There has to be a way to stop these crazy idiots. I am so tired of every day opening up to see my email and seeing 10 scams or opening up my text messages and seeing the same.

I just received this text but I did not respond because my bank does not contact me through text messages for alerts, they will only call me and I know what the phone numbers are. Always contact your bank directly, plesae never respond to any sketchy messages.

Be careful with phone numbers as well as they are spoofed all the time. Most banks are currently experiencing this problem or have experienced it in the past. Sad world we live in that's for sure.
