Scammers are sending US Bank scam text messages to potential victims stating a checking account has been linked to their accounts. The texts then claim if the recipients did not authorize this, they should visit. hxxps://usbank1sec.com. But, the link goes to a fake and phishing US Bank website that steals account credentials, personal and financial information.

Got one today also, but I don't fall for stuff like this. Would need to come from one of my banks with better details to even start to look real.

I just got one but I was wise enough not to act on it. Text of the message follows. "US Bank: Checking account ending in 4831 has been linked to your account. If this was not authorized by you please visit Https://usbank1sec.com"
