The telephone number 425-380-0908 and others from 425 area code are being used by scammers in PayPal email invoice scams, which claims a payment was sent to a particular company. The scammers behind the fake telephone numbers trick potential victims into calling them by claiming an unauthorized payment was made, which we know is not true. If the potential victims call the fake PayPal telephone number, they will be asked for account credentials, personal and financial information. Once the scammers steal the information they need, they will use it to scam their victims.

If you received emails claiming an unauthorized transaction was made on your PayPal account, always go directly to www.paypal.com, sign in to your account and check your transaction history. If there is no such transaction, you know someone is attempting to scam you.
