Fake-News or Hoax - "Four People Shot at Lil Wayne's House in Miami Beach"

The Miami Beach police has confirmed that the alleged shooting that took place at Lil Wayne' Miami Beach home is a hoax. Lil Wayne, also called Weezy has posted the following on popular social networking website Twitter, to reassure fans that he is okay and the shooting was a prank: "Prank kall mane." The Miami Beach Police Department has reported that they found no signs of foul play and said that it was a swatting call.

They have posted the following on their Twitter page: "MBPD handles all calls of this nature in a serious manner.in this case it appears to have be a hoax @ #LiLWaynes home."

'Swatting' is a very dangerous prank in which people falsely report a violent crime in progress as a means of triggering a major police response.
