Beware of www.grovelfun.com - It is a Fraudulent Website

The website "www.grovelfun.com" is a fraudulent one. The website which claims it will deliver all your favorite movies, music, and games across all your favorite platforms, is similar to the fraudulent websites: www.geeker.com, lilplay.com and tzarmedia.com. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website, run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have cancelled their subscriptions.

Please continue below.

www.grovelfun.com - The Fraudulent Website

www.grovelfun.com

They (grovelfun.com) claim not to charge your credit card for the trial period, but will do so anyway, even if you cancel before the trial period is up. Also, they will charge you to cancel your free registration, and will periodical charge your credit card for an undetermined amount of money. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.

Online user who have already subscribed to grovelfun.com, are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

The "free" trial period does not let you cancel. I have tried several times before it automatically renews, to no avail. I cancelled my credit card and will block any attempt and removal of funds from my account.
    send on the warning!!!
    Saw it too late!

I have discovered yesterday that my credit card was charged for 8 euros. I went to that website only once looking for some old English films. I contacted my bank and they said, that my card has been charged since july. I closed my card immediately and the bank will try to get my money back. I hope they will succeed.

My father receives a charge per month of about 8.00€ from the site. I'm not sure how he activated this charge. I think that he must block it at his bank account, but is it sure that he will not receive any more a charge from this fraudulent site? Can he recover the money?

        Thanks a lot.
The strategy is to charge small amounts to many people, and I think that for so little money most of them do not take care or do no want to do the effort to report it.
        Thanks again.
