If you have gotten text messages from telephone numbers in the 1-410-000-0001 and 1-410-100-0001 ranges, claiming that you have won some so-called lottery, you have received some so-called donations, your account has been issued credit for overage charges, or you have received threats to pay out money, please do not respond to the messages. This is because the messages are being sent by scammers and spammers using the 1-410-000-xxxx to 1-410-100-xxxx telephone number ranges.
Thousands of people around the country are receiving spam and scams from the 1-410-000-xxxx to 1-410-100-xxxx telephone number ranges. Most of the recipients of the spams and scams are AT&T customers. Most are asked to go to fake websites like hxxp:/www.myatt85.com that steal account credentials and personal information. While some are tricked into signing up for premium services.
If you get a spam text message, forward the message to your cell or mobile phone service provider so that they can help shut the spammers down. Therefore, don't delete the spam or scam text right away.

mine came as a text to win a prize completing a survey for AT&T. The number is 410100019 ... interestingly not a 10 digit number.

The text source isn't a real phone number, it's missing the last digit (the 1-410 makes it appear like it's a long distance call with 410 area code = eastern Maryland including Baltimore, Columbia, Glen Burnie, Ellicott City, and Dundalk.) I received a text message from 410-100-0010 tell me to Call Now/Call Alert about my Visa. Very obviously a spam call.
I received text (410)100-010 as follows: FRM:452938881 MSG: We have received reports of abouse regarding your Facebook account. http://report-43369490.nabalifares.psIt is highly unlikely that I have abused anyone on facebook. I haven't received notification from Facebook on my account. I did not respond.The phone number/text ID above is correct.Thanks for the help!

I just received one from 1-410-100-011. It referenced an ATT payment.
Total scam. I received this text from a phone number short one digit: 1 (410) 200-502AT&T's messages don't come that way, they come from a message code. Tip #1.Tip #2: no legit phone company is going to send you a text written like that. With FRM: and SUBJ: And then no space between ".Call" That's third-world grammar/writing. Tip #3: AT&T will never send you a linked phone number to call. Just like the bank won't. And the credit card company won't. They'll tell you to log into your account and check your status.The number to call on my text was 707-661-8028 btw. One digit off from some of the other texts.

Had already paid bill (successfully). Number to call on mine was 2192490573. The message came from 1(410)100-004, short one number.

I keep receiving texts from 1-410-100-006 among other 410 texts. I do not open. Beware, I am sure these are scams

(410) 100-011 Scam saying they're updating the database settings on Facebook and to click on the link to see how I might be affected. This is the third one I received so far today.

410-100-004, told me my chase card has been retained, and gave me a link to click on. 🙄 I don’t even have chase.
Received text from 1-410-100-002 with a link to click on. Said it was a fraud alert from Wells Fargo.
Received a message from -410-015 saying I could make $500 per week advertising their pepsico log on my vehicle all I had to do is send them my name,address and make off vehicle ..... Surely another too good to be true messages Told them not to text me again

Got a text from 1(410)100-022. It said it was from manuelfranco908-hotmail.com. The message said:Hy, (not a typo) Manuel Franco who just won the Power Ball lotto has randomly chosen you to receive 1 million dollars. Please respond to mamuelfranco908-hotmail.com to claim. I did not, knowing it was a scam due to the odd phone number, and well...I blocked the caller and deleted the message.
Received a text from 1-410-100-002 claiming I had 200 dollars coming to me from Western Union. I know this is a scam because I am not expected any wired money from anyone. Didn't fall for it.
410-100-014 claiming my bank account is blocked due to suspicious activity
My 80 year old cousin keeps getting text from 410-100-006. That is one number short.It is asking to finish request to be a FaceBook member.Over and over... She is very upset over this. She has never joined or attempted to join FaceBook.
Never attempt to contact these people. To reply may get you more attention by the scammers. Just ignore the text.

I've been getting these several times a day. AT&T says there's nothing that they can do.Why would it be some huge technological reach to block any message that say or has "Wells Fargo" in the subject line? (I'm not a Wells Fargo customer.)
I have been getting them too. I have been threatened them and it stopped from that person and went on to another person. I threatened them too. I basically told them I would find out who they are and come after them if the texts didn't stop. I have reported them so we'll see what happens with that.
