Beware of ".Me Sign-In Attempt was Blocked for Your Linked Profile" Scam

Apple users who have the fake "security alert for your profile" email below, which claim that a sign-in attempt was blocked for their linked profile, are asked not to follow the instructions in the email. I just got 2 of these emails from the same Amphitheatre Parkway location. Fortunately the From address was questionable. One from what looks like an adserver and the other from Excite, which I think handles job searches. I forwarded the emails to my cable provider.

    Thank you,

I believe this is a scam. Am I correct? Nexicom is a company in Canada. I am not in Canada.
