Verizon Bill is Paid Text Scam - Here is a Gift for You

If you receive a text which appears to be from Verizon saying that your current bill has been paid and ask you to click on a link that says: "Here’s a gift for you," please do not. This is because the fake text message is a scam being sent by scammers to trick potential victims into clicking on the link in it. The link goes to a phishing website that steals account credentials, personal and financial information.
