It is a legitimate hotline that Singaporeans can seek advice from, check if they are being scammed, or if they have been contacted by potential scammers. Manned by the NCPC, it operates Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. Again, 1800-722-6688 is an Anti-Scam Hotline that members of the public can call if they want to seek advice or check if they are being contacted by potential scammers.

HI Officer Around 11.02am got a call from this telephone no. 6856-8434 imposing as Lazada in the Boarding Team and her name is Lovely that I have created an account with them.11.13 am call Lazada Mamagement at 6995-2888 to verify the caller and department which Ms Em told me there is no such person and team in their management.Can you please check the caller is from which part of Singapore and company?Appreciate your kind assistance.ThanksCheryl
Same here. Received a call from the same number 68568434 by the name of Nisha, Business Advisor from Lazada SG.. Was asked to provide a photo of ic (front & back) & Bank Statement.. She even sent a text via Whatsapp (81741160) and emailed me for the documents requested
The telephone is legit because it is posted on police.gov.sg and www.scamalert.sg, which are legitimate government websites.
