Scammers are sending scam texts from 8885260074 or asking potential victims to call the fake PNC Bank customer service telephone number. Therefore, recipients of text messages from 888-526-0074 or those who are asked to call the same telephone number, are asked to delete the text messages.
The aim of the PNC Bank scam text is to trick potential victims into calling the scammers behind it. If contacted, the scammers will pretend to be PNC customer service and attempt to trick the potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal, and financial information, which they will use fraudulently.

If you were tricked into disclosing your account credentials and finanical information to the scammers, please contact PNC Bank for help. Their legitimate customer service telephone number is: 1 (412) 803-7711 or you can go to PNC's website at www.pnc.com/en/customer-service.html for contact details.
If you have received a PNC Bank text scam, please post it in a comment below to help inform others then delete it. Do not follow the instructions in it.

Here’s the text I received below. Recognized it as a phishing scheme immediately. Sender listed only as : 365124@customer.com(Call 8885260074) PNC - Unauthorized activity on your accnt.Notice ID 585458
3 of my family members received the text, ID #s were different, Phone # was the same. Deleted it.
I received the text message but I knew it was a scam. I have a PNC account and know they won't text asking for information.
