The Zola Ndut PayPal text scam below from 9494415666, is being sent by scammers. The PayPal text message scam, which claims recipients sent a payment to Zola Ndut and they have a 30-minute window to dispute it, contains a link that goes to a fake and phishing PayPal website that steals account credentials, personal and financial information. Therefore, recipients are asked not to click the link in it or call the telephone number(949-441-5666) the fake text came from.
PayPal: You have sent a payment to Zola Ndut of $9.99 USD. You can dispute this payment before 30 minutes at: "hxxps://tinyurl.com/5n8xzezt"
If visitors to the phishing website attempts to login with their PayPal credential and submit their personal and financial information, it will be used fraudulently by the scammers. Therefore, if you have been tricked by the scam text, please change your password and contact your bank for help.
Whenever you receive text or email message regarding your PayPal account, always go directly to www.paypal.com and sign into your account. After signing in, search for the transaction that was mentioned. If you cannot find it, the message maybe a scam.
The Zola Ndut PayPal text is not just being sent from a 949 area code telephone number, it also being sent from 1-972-737-9116 and 1-409-515-8376. If have received the same scam from another telephone number, please list in a comment below.

It doesn't seem like it would be all that hard to catch and prosecute these people. Teach them all a lesson and put an end to it once and for all.

I got the same one also. It is a scam. Just go in to your paypal account and make sure there has been no charge and change your password
