    Received a text @ 11:25 AM bank-mobile-alert-84 (Call: 8882761169 Now-847#) VISA-Card-temporarily-locked-ID:Bj8cYzQ.

I knew it must of been a scam. None of my credit cards send a notification without identifying which company sent it, and they always send a email at the same time.

I received a mobile alert saying my credit card has been locked, please call 8882761169. I did not call this # or follow any links in the text. I went directly to my bank web site and confirmed with them that my card was not locked and there were no issues with it.
