Scammers are sending the BOA Alerts scam text messages below, which claim a transfer, charge, or request has been made on the recipient's account, to potential victims. The aim of the scam is to trick and frighten potential victims into calling scammers, who will pretend to be Bank of America customer support representatives. The scammers will ask potential victims to disclose their account credentials, personal or financial information, which they will use fraudulently.
