Is petchip.info a Scam or is it Legit? Review of Pet Chip Info

I was diverted to Pet Chip Info at petchip.info when I Googled "Pet microchip registration". I filled in the forms and paid the £18 registration fee through PayPal, using my debit card. I received several emails from PayPal one of which confirmed setting an annual payment fee of £18. I did not think this was right so I researched PetChip and found that it is a fraudulent company and not recognised in the UK .
