Upon visiting their website, I was astonished to find another ticket, supposedly from the same day, with a hefty price tag of $167. I want to clarify that I did not park on their property; I merely drove through it for some reason. Despite this, they have provided a picture of my license plate as evidence. What concerns me further is that this bill resembles a government-issued city ticket and threatens to escalate to collections if not paid promptly. I have reached out to Professional Parking Management via email, explaining the situation, but their response insists on payment. This entire ordeal raises suspicions of a potential scam. Victims report being fined despite paying, receiving false entry/exit times, and facing aggressive, automated collection threats over small, alleged infringements. PPM uses cameras to photograph license plates in private parking lots (e.g., restaurants, retail areas), then mails invoices for fees, often claiming non-payment or overstaying. Many users report receiving fines even after paying at the legitimate kiosk or app. Reports exist of the company ignoring valid proof of payment. Initial fees, often around $50-$90, increase quickly and are transferred to collections, preying on people who cannot prove they paid. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) lists numerous complaints regarding this company, including a pattern of ignoring complaints and sending questionable violations.Research the company or location first. Locate your receipts, bank statements, or app confirmation (e.g., ParkMobile) to prove payment. Reach out to the business where you parked to complain about the management company's tactics.Formally dispute the charge, but be aware that they may still deny it. Report the company to the Better Business Bureau and your State Attorney General.an anonymous userhttps://www.onlinethreatalerts.com/users/#an-anonymous-userFeb 15, 2024 at 10:11 AM by Is parkinginvoice.com a Scam?an anonymous user from: Conservation, Florida, United StatesI got this too, 2 of them. My daughter claimed to have parked legally!! Did you guys ultimately pay these fines??an anonymous userhttps://www.onlinethreatalerts.com/users/#an-anonymous-userJan 3, 2024 at 2:05 PM by Is parkinginvoice.com a Scam?an anonymous user from: Southpark, Orlando, Florida, United StatesHow this company is allowed to do all this is criminal. I parked in my friends complex and my car keys got locked in the car. I had no funds to register online ($5 to register) so I went to go look for security. The man is NOWHERE to be found, and next thing you know, I walk back to my car and have a hefty $55 ticket waiting for me after a few minutes. Its almost like they love doing this. Submitted an appeal and during the wait for the appeal they raised the ticket to $90 because it passed the pay by date. Since WHEN are you allowed to raise the price of a ticket while its in an appeal process????? The amount of complaints this company has is ENORMOUS, and yet it still operates with no punishment/consequence.an anonymous userhttps://www.onlinethreatalerts.com/users/#an-anonymous-userJan 3, 2024 at 2:05 PM by Is parkinginvoice.com a Scam?an anonymous user from: Tampa, Florida, United StatesAs mentioned by others, this company practices extremely shady parking enforcement. I received a notice in the mail stating I owed $90 for parking, when I parked in a spot clearly marked that it was for the restaurant I was picking up food at. I never received a ticket or any notice I was being charged for this until I received the letter stating I was delinquent because 15 days had passed from the time the charge was assessed. What a scam by immoral, unethical people. There is nobody to call, no way to appeal...just a threat that my car can be impounded. Unbelievable!an anonymous userhttps://www.onlinethreatalerts.com/users/#an-anonymous-userJan 3, 2024 at 2:05 PM by Is parkinginvoice.com a Scam?an anonymous user from: Miami, Florida, United StatesHow is it possible for these tickets to be exorbitantly expensive, resembling city-issued citations, and yet possess a coercive undertone? I urge you to investigate this matter promptly and ensure that fair and transparent practices are upheld.
