The fake "Apple Pay Alert" message below, which claims a transaction at the Apple Store was detected, is a scam. The aim is to trick potential victims into calling a fake Apple Support telephone number linked to a call center operated by scammers. The scammers will pretend to be from Apple and trick callers into disclosing their account credentials, personal and financial information. That information will then be used fraudulently.
