Online Threat Alerts (OTA) - Alerting you to scams and frauds.
The website "www.mediabugz.com" is a fraudulent one. The website which claims that online users can watch movies, listen to music and play games, is similar to the fraudulent websites: www.geeker.com, lilplay.com, and tzarmedia.com. Online users who have used their credit cards on the fraudulent website (mediabugz), run the risk of their cards being fraudulently charged for undetermined amounts, even when they have canceled their subscriptions.
They (mediabugz) claim not to charge your credit card for the trial period but will do so anyway, even if you cancel before the trial period is up. Also, they will charge you to cancel your free registration, and will periodically charge your credit card for an undetermined amount of money. And, the website doesn't have some movies, books, and music it has advertised. I think this is another trick used to lure potential victims to the website.
Online user who have already subscribed to mediabugz.com, are asked to contact their credit card company or bank for help to prevent the fraudulent website from fraudulently charging their credit cards, or refund their money if their cards were already charged.

"Dear, with indignation I see suspicious amounts appearing on the Master Card statement in the last three months. It concerns equal amounts of € 49.95 for MEDIABUGZ.COM on 11/04/2019 11/05/2019 11/06/2019.These are equal amounts of € 49.95 for PLAYPROZ.COM on 13/04/2019 13/05/2019 13/06/2019.Check these amounts in the 3 appendices with the relevant references. When consulting the internet for those sites, I want to know what these companies mean via “Contact US”.I arrive at the same e-mail address. Suspicious for me!Can you explain to me which subscription it is about and how I took this subscription. If this is a valid subscription, give me the proof! If this is an incorrect subscription, not taken by me, I want you to refund these subscription fees, so € 49.95 x 2 x 3 is € 299.7.Thank you for your research and your answer,With best regards,Christiaan"Received via email.

I never entered this website, I did not register, I do not know it completely. They charged me 49.99 making fraudulent use of my card data. They are a scam!
Is there any way to close the account. They've taken money out of my checking account and I can't find the website to try and close my account? Will I be able to get my money back?
So I didn’t realize that website was a fraud. How do I cancel it? I’m still in high school so I don’t want to go in debt because of it.
Dear Sir or Madam,I noticed that you debited from my Visa account an amount of 49,95 €.Who gives you the right to dispose of my visa account? I have not placed an order with you and therefore have not issued any direct debit authorization. How do you get my visa data?I'll give you 3 days to transfer the amount back. Otherwise, I will file a complaint against you at the police station.Signed Walter Ehrhardt
I have actually the exactly same case.Signed Reto.
Please contact your bank and have them cancel the fraudulent transactions, refund your money and cancel the same credit card, and get a new one to prevent the fraudsters from continuously charging your card.
I've been trying to unsubscribe to media bug but have no luck and they have charged me $74.00 NZ, who can help because bank can't do anything coz the website has my details. Frustrated.
I have the same problem too, they took 74 out of my account as well
Me too. I’m still in high school and I don’t have that much money so i’m REALLY worried.
I somehow have a subscription to this medianugz.com site. I cannot contact them and they are taking $62-$63 Australian a month out of my credit card. I have contacted my bank and changed all information, but this website now has access to this new card and information. When I google this site it comes up with not much information. I will contact my bank again to try and stop this thieving from my card. Regards Carolyn.
Carolyn, I'm in the exact position your in, how did you go with your bank coz I'm having no luck in anyway.
Was driving home tonight and received a notification from my bank for it. I've never heard of it. Bank is now investigating it.
