Just bought into that scam.. ordered two kayaks for 94.99 ea and the next day realized it’s a scam. PayPal, my bank and the attorney general have all been notified. $200 out.. in the year of financial upset for many, I’m glad I will still be able to provide a good Christmas for my family. Buyers beware.

This happened to me as well. Paypal is doing nothing about it. They also operate under another website, sundolphinshop.com. Same bogus address in New Jersey and telephone number. Chinese writing on invoice from Paypal.

PayPal is aware of this scam. I received notice earlier today of my refund from them.

    Sundolphinstore.com

Phishing during online checkout, they are hoping you enter your email password when prompted to “login” even though you have not created one yet.

SCAM. Reported to Google, they are paying for ad space, also reporting to IC3.

    • November 18, 2020 at 12:37 PM by an anonymous user from: Westpark, Irvine, California, United States

They are also operating under sundolphinshop.com, same address and phone number. I'm filing a complaint with the FCC as Paypal is doing nothing about it.

This same company is now operating under a new name, sundolphinstore.com. I purchased a Christmas gift, a kayak for my son, and can’t reach the company. Why are these people allowed to advertise?

  • November 10, 2020 at 5:02 PM by an anonymous user from: Downtown Eugene, Eugene, Oregon, United States

I as well just fell for it too. I used my cc. I ordered one, THEN realized when I looked for receipt in my email from the store that I DID NOT GET, just one from paypal, that it was bogus. NOT to mention the chinese writing on the Paypal receipt! I then looked up the store...ughh, and I consider myself a SMART shopper online. I called my CC card within 30 mins of me ordering and closed my account. Luckily the payment was still in pending and will now not go thru. I am ok with closing this account, and NOT letting this SCAMMER have my CC #'s! Whew.

Fell for it as well. When you google buy sundlophin kayak it is one of the first searches on Google. I checked out as a guest from paypal. The next day I figured it had to be to good to be true so I researched the site after I purchased it. I ended up calling ebay customer service and filed a claim. They said that the seller has 10 days to get back to them and if he doesn't I will be issued a refund. If he does and I don't receive anything then I can file a different claim.

PayPal receipt and off the Sun Dolphin website both via their website and via the email address they provided. Pretty sure I won't be hearing back from anyone! PayPal needs to shut this customer down. The website also needs to be shut down and ads taken off Google. Lesson learned - no impulse or online buys without thoroughly researching!

  • November 3, 2020 at 10:18 AM by an anonymous user from: St Charles, Lake St Louis, Missouri, United States

Total Scam. Unfortunately fell for it as well. Bought 2. Called the number off the website also and got that same message (a poor lady who says the number is not a kayak company). Only realized it when UPS tracking numbers said items delivered, then when speaking with UPS, they had different delivery addresses and contact names (within 4 miles of us). Then realized never got an actual receipt for the items, just PayPal receipts and tracking numbers. Emailed shipper contact from PayPal receipt and off the Sun Dolphin website both via their website and via the email address they provided. Pretty sure I won't be hearing back from anyone! PayPal needs to shut this customer down. The website also needs to be shut down and ads taken off Google. Lesson learned - no impulse or online buys without thoroughly researching!

I just had the same thing happen to me, after I thought I had thoroughly researched... Something looked odd once the PayPal transaction was authorized. What happened for you? Were you able to get your money back? PayPal is being no help... I removed my bank account from PayPal in hopes of that stopping the transaction.

  • November 1, 2020 at 2:48 PM by an anonymous user from: South Loop, Chicago, Illinois, United States

Yep. I fell for it. I called customer service number they have listed and it was some poor lady in Georgia. Her voice-mail message was "this isn't the kayak number. We have no idea what the number is. If you want herb leave a message."

I went for the BS because I was short on time and placed an order. Obviosly not thinking. F! Hours later I thought hmmm... something don't seem right. I called card company. They said call back in 3 to 5 days for a dispute claim. WTF! THE CHARGES ARE PENDING AS WE SPEAK! Cancel payment! Sorry sir we don't have that feature. FU FU FU. Lesson learned...

  • October 27, 2020 at 8:30 PM by an anonymous user from: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States

Sundolphinshop.com is a scam. They offer deep discount and free shipping to lure people in. The phone number has a voice message saying that this is not a kayak company. I called paypal and my bank chase and told them about it so that someone could shut it down. Sadly they just didn't care and simply asked me to file a dispute instead of trying to shut it down to avoid more fraud losses.
