Urlzs.com Scam Links to Untrustworthy Websites

Cybercriminals are using the website urlzs.com to post links to their scams or malicious websites. Urlzs appears to be a URL shorter that reduces a long link, but like other URL shorters, it is being abused by cybercriminals. Therefore, online users are asked to be careful of urlzs.com links and should always research a website before registering with or buying things from it.

To find out if a website is legitimate, Google the website's name and review the results. If the site is illegitimate, a quick Google check will be enough to inform you accordingly. If you cannot find any information about the website, you can ask us about it.

    We got one today saying they were from UPS wanting us to click on the link to verify our zip code. This was a text. We decided to check it here, glad we did

    I got one of these at 5:00 a.m. and googled it taking me to this article. It came from a "june5tns@outlook.com" which I've blocked...Thanks for the info/warning!
