I received the teak faced with teak inserts on a black metal band and bezel. This watch is beautiful, it has been assembled with much care and attention to detail. I am extremely happy with this watch. Awesome Christmas gift from an awesome friend. DEFINITELY NOT A SCAM.

We ordered 5 watches and was told 4 to 6 weeks delivery. Over 8 weeks after multiple calls and emails plus a bogus tracking number, we have determined we were scammed and plan to report it as such.

Are they a scam in that you won’t get the watch? No. You will receive the watches that you order. However the claims of being all wood is a lie. I have the lunar and most of the band is metal and it’s all scratched up. They don’t make any of the watches themselves, they are all sourced from China, they all say made in China, and you can buy them online through AliBaba under the name Bobobird. So they are a scam in that they lie about where the watches come from, how the watches are made, and the quality. The reason they do these fake closing sales is because they get a whole bunch of people to buy a whole bunch at once, they get a volume discount under the guise of “closing/final sale”, and then split them all up. So they say they’re closing in the sale is gonna last 10 more days, 5000 people by the watches, so they buy them in Bulk and split them up.

I thought their story was nice and looked at the watches on and off for a few weeks. Their nice looking. I know wooden watches won’t hold up to daily use and pictured it breaking with little pieces strewn all over at the must in opportune time. Their not industrial their delicate little pieces of wood. Still nice looking. I bought a few just to have, maybe I’d never even use them. I decided to buy one of each to complete a collection. Some with more design than others but none the less kind of a novelty. Something to put in a shadow box for display. Ok, about $600 invested. The orders, 3 were placed in late August and according to them (customer service) 2 of the orders, 7 of the 14 watches are in Texas at this point. 2/3s of the way. We’ll see, UPS is tracking very slowly! I hope I get them. It’s a shame that it’s just a story I’m guessing at this point about the manufacturing process but nevertheless someone put them together very carefully. I hope it wasn’t child labor.
I still think their nice. I hope I get them and I wish the person who put them together could know I appreciate their hard work.

My daughter ordered me one over a month ago and it finally arrived, and while I liked it, the minute hand was detached and basically spun around. I proved this to them and they say they are sending me another. At the time I was impressed with how they handled that then saw their discount for 5 of their watches for CHEAP, so I ordered them, total for the 5 was ~ $125. After I placed the order (just 10 days ago) I found out they don't make any of their watches, they come from China. Do some research. You can find their watches on Alibaba, a China portal.

I am upset they are not who they said they were and I am contemplating asking for a refund. I don't like being scammed, they are definitely a scam.

I just got mine. It’s a nice watch, I wouldn’t pay $140 for it, but the closing sale made it like $45 and I snagged one. It’s cool, they postEd videos all the time before they closed and seemed real

I received my Woodwelt watch last week. It was the Rustic. Very nice for the price. I liked it so much I purchased the "Ember". It has a nice range of color of woods on the band. Bought it as they are going to close the doors 08/31/2020. Cannot wait to see it.
And they are Legit. No scam!
I wish they weren't closing. They would have probably come up with more innovative designs. Best wishes.

I just received(August 28th) a ‘Shine’ watch I ordered from Woodwelt, and I can say without any reservation Woodwelt is NOT a scam. The watch is beautiful and seems of good quality. It took about 3 weeks to show up. It’s a shame the company is closing on the 31st.

I have my concerns as I ordered a 3 watch bundle and now know they have announced closing down August 31. No recourse after that date.

I ordered two of their watches on August 23 and the sad part is there is zero communications and zero watches as of today September 19 and no way to communicate or even reach out to them

Starting to get skeptical and have that pain in the pit of my stomach that I got scammed. Hopefully not. And I truly hope that if my order arrives that they are quality.

I read in someone else’s review that they close down their operations and they are now based out of Europe where the Internet shows that they were based out of Pennsylvania

if they were a scam or a rip, they wouldn't have told anyone they were closing. they seem legit and if worse comes to worse, dispute the charge with your credit/debit card.

I personally ordered 5 watches from them. Got a feeling in my gut and did some research. Woodwelt didn't make the watches. They ordered them from BOBO bird in China who actually manufactures them. When I called woodwelt out on this they canceled my order. I have 2 friends who've still not received anything from them. And can't get so much as a reply from email as to where there watches are.

It's a dropshipping site. I'm sure you'll get the product but they literally middleman these products from a Chinese wholesale website. You could have found the same product for the same price on Alibaba dot Com

The only thing I found out about this website is their return address:
WoodWelt
1550 W Evans Ave. Unit C
Denver CO, 80223

Can anyone in this area verify that Woodwelt Watches is located at that address?

If that address is correct, unit C says its available now and has been on the market for 2 years. Broker website shows it was just updated March 9th 2020. I called the number (which is a Denver number) I was able to leave a message and got an instant text back saying they would call me back during business hours.
