8338531165 Wells Fargo Scam Calls and Texts - 833-853-1165

It appears scammers are calling and sending texts from 8338531165 and pretending to be Wells Fargo. If you have received a call or text from 833-853-1165, do not follow the instruction in it. Instead, call Wells Fargo directly using the number at the back of your card or on their website, to verify the authenticity of the call or text.     I received the same Text and amount but was from "amazon" deleted and blocked

    I also received a text message from 818-270-0955 saying "your card was debited $1598.95 for order id 103-09380218001-001 at Amazon on Jun-17-2022 to stop call 8338531180

    I went into panic mode and checked all of my credit card accounts before googling the number and found this.

    I just received a text saying $1598.95 was debited to 'your card' at Amazon but funny, they don't say WHICH card.

    I also received the same message from the same phone no. saying a charge of $1899.99 hade been made to my credit card on an Amazon purchase. Message said to call 833-853-1180 to STOP

    Got a text 10/23 saying "Wells Fargo (Contact Us Immediately) at the same phone number. I deleted it.

    I got a text from them Saturday 10/23 and Sunday 10/24 telling me to call them back using two different numbers. I closed my wells fargo accounts years ago so I knew it was a scam.

    Just adding to the database. Received the text on Saturday, Oct 23, same as all of the other commenters here. Caller ID says: 8BDA3D16. When I click on info, completely blank. Can’t even block it. Crazy.

    I received a text at 7:06 PM on 10/23/2021 Saturday. I knew immediately that it wasn’t from Wells Fargo and I called Wells Fargo right away. Mike, a customer service representative from Wells Fargo, told me that anytime Wells Fargo sends a text message, they use certain 5 numbers that they send the text from. These scamming jokers used these numbers and letters: 613DEAD9. Instant idiots. Wells Fargo does not use numbers and letters. The phone number they tell you to call them back immediately is also wrong, Obviously. Don’t let these scammers trick you, your family, or your friends. Spread the word. Let them know about every scam you know about, so they won’t become another innocent victim to these demon spawns. I wish you the best of luck. God Bless You!

    I just got a text from “Wells Fargo” with this number. I didn’t call the number I just looked it up on google first.
