Slightthey.com Package Shipment Tracking Scam Text - Slightthey

The fake Package Shipment Tracking text message below is a scam being used by scammers to trick potential victims into clicking the link in it. The link goes to a phishing website located at slightthey.com that tricks potential victims into completing surveys that promise a MacBook Pro and other electronic devices. Completing the surveys will only send potential victims' information to the scammers who will use it fraudulently.

Got a message on my cell phone on dec. 16, 2021 -8:41 am

Parcel tracking: hi, your package with tracking code ha672y84 is waiting for you to check the shipping address: slightthey.com/eymtk2g
I replied with --- who is this, looks like a scam to me.
Message back was message to 4049471748 deleted. This number being the phone number that showed message coming from.
Needless to say, I didn't open the link or nor would I have given any information to them as I knew I hadn't ordered anything that was due to come in at that time.
