People are getting scam calls from 086 numbers claiming their tax refund is due, their immediate payment of a tax bill is required, or legal actions will be taken against them unless they make payment over the phone via credit/debit card or bank transaction. But, Revenue never asks customers to provide personal information via telephone calls or text messages.
