The fake "Intellect Co Ltd" text messages below are scams being sent by scammers. Therefore, recipients are asked NOT to call the telephone number listed in them. The fake PayPal telephone numbers are being used by scammers to trick their potential victims into calling them, thinking they are contacting PayPal. If contacted, the scammers will ask for account credentials, personal and financial information, which they will use fraudulently.

Now the scam is using cash app. As a way to get the people who are calling they. Watch ur butt
I got this same message, except it said it was from AusPost and gave the phone number 1800849158.

It's a scam! Whenever you received an unknown message related to money, don't forget to immediately check your bank account and Paypal or anything. Confirm that first and stay calm.
I almost fell for this scam! I was tired and very concerned. They knew my email address, M/C #, home address They got very aggressive when I would not give the security numbers. Google/Gmail blocked an attempt(s) from India to get into my Gmail. For me foolishly phoning the “1800” number I have now had to cancel my CreditCard. Thanks for this Alert.

I have just received a message worded exactly as in the above description ie "I have paid $1299.99 via PayPal" etc today 4/10. I have not, this has all the hallmarks of SCAM beware.
I received the above text on 4 Oct 2021 from 0474 953 406 BUT it told me to dial 611800861416 if I wanted to dispute the transaction.
