Home Categories Questions BCBSIL Scam Email- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois Claim Notification from bcbsil_noreply@bcbsil.com 2 290 1 Feb 3, 2023 2023-02-03T13:17:39-05:00 Feb 4, 2023 2023-02-04T08:21:47-05:00 Online Threat Alerts (OTA) I just received a very convincing email that claim I had "an EOB with an updated claim" from BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois. Don't live in that state and have never lived in that state or had that insurance, but I did have Anthem BlueCross BlueShield insurance before years ago. The email was sent from BCBSIL_noreply@bcbsil.com, but I don't know if that has been spoofed in some way.I wasn't able to find any recent data breaches, but does anyone else have any info? BCBS doesn't seem to make it easy to report phishing emails, so I have to call them. Check the comment section below for answers or additional information.
