Is the Replacement Device Lawsuit a Scam or is it Legit?

The Replacement Device Lawsuit is not a scam. If you purchased AppleCare Protection Plan or AppleCare+ for an iPhone or iPad, either directly or through the iPhone Upgrade Program, on or after July 20, 2012, and received a remanufactured replacement iPhone or iPad, you could be included in a class action lawsuit. Payment is distributed based on the number of devices for each class member. Each device payment is $14.45

Members of the class action suit have already received an email from EpiqPay at noreply@epiqpay.com with instructions on how to claim the settlement payment, so check your junk or trash if you believe you are part of it. Recipients can either claim a Virtual MasterCard, direct bank deposit, or a check.
