Is orders oe1.target.com a Scam or Legit Email?

The email address orders@oe1.target.com is a legitimate official email address used by Target to send order-related communications, such as order confirmations and shipping notifications. However, it is not an email address that customers use to place orders directly. This email address is used for automated outbound communication to inform customers about their online orders.

The domain @oe1.target.com is a valid subdomain owned by Target, and emails originating from it regarding your orders are legitimate. But, while the email address itself is legitimate, scammers often create look-alike or spoofed emails that appear to come from this address to trick people into providing personal information. Always be cautious of links in unexpected emails.

How to Verify Orders

  • Instead of clicking links in an email, especially if it seems suspicious or unexpected, you should verify your order status directly through official channels:
  • Log into your account directly on target.com and check your Orders history in the upper right corner.
  • Use the official Target app, go to your profile (name icon in the lower right), and select Purchases to view all order details.

Reporting Suspicious Activity

If you receive a suspicious email that appears to be from Target and are concerned about fraud:

  • Do not click any links in the email.
