I asked what bank they were calling from. They hung up. I redialed and it said US Bank, so I hung up. I called US Bank and they said scammers are spoofing their telephone numbers to make victims believe they are calling from US Bank. U.S. Bank's Fraud Department can be reached at 877-595-6256 to report suspicious activity, unauthorized transactions, or identity theft. For immediate assistance with checking accounts or lost/stolen debit cards, call 800-USBANKS (872-2657).
