Scamming - Fraud
Scammers are calling and sending text messages to their potential victims from telephone number: 844-453-4040, in an attempt to trick them in disclosing their personal and financial information, and may subsequently ask them to send money for some bogus job service. The scammers will call their potential victims and ask if they are looking for a job. They will also sent text messages or SMS asking the recipients to call back the same number if they are interested in a job offer.
Therefore, recipients who have received text messages from 844-453-4040 are asked to delete and not follow the instructions in them. Also, recipients who have received calls from the same number are asked not to disclose their personal and financial information over the phone, or follow the caller’s instructions. Recipients of text messages or telephone calls are asked never to disclose sensitive information over the telephone, especially when they receive calls from unknown numbers.
Note: Scammers may call from the same telephone number offering difference services, not just job offers.

I just received a text on my Google voice number asking, "Mel, are you still looking for a job?" Once I replied "Stop" to cancel, I then received a text saying, "Employment HUB: You have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive messages."
Received a text this morning "(my name) are you still looking for a job?" The concerning thing here is how they know my name? Maybe via my phone number but I am supposed to be unlisted - anyway, total scam, don't fall for it

I also received this text oddly as soon as I switched to metro pcs? I'm wondering if we're all using metro as a carrier and they are getting our phone numbers from metro pcs somehow... Please respond and let me know if you also have metro perhaps they are liable for this intrusion.

Keep getting calls from 844-453-4040 asking if I'm still looking for a job, so when you ask questions (Amy) she hangs up quickly. But she calls back again like I don't know that she called before how stupid can she be.
Received via email: "I got a job offer from phone number 1-849-453-4040 good thing I saw your website. Peace & thanks 👍"
I got a text msg from this number. Glad I saw this. deleted this immediately.
Here is another scam: "From: 3216048555@sms.myboostmobile.com Fwd:Cynthia, are you still looking for a job? Please call us at 1-844-453-4040 ASAP. (Reply STOP to cancel) **Cyndi**"
I got a text from this number this morning asking me if I am still looking for a job. I've been getting phone calls, sometimes multiple times a day, with a woman's voice (sounds like a robot) asking me if I'm still looking for a job. I've blocked every number they have called me from and it slowed down a little bit, but then I got the text. The phone calls were coming in so many times per day it was borderline harassment.
