"We Are Closing All Version of Yahoo Mailbox" Phishing Scam

Yahoo should have a tool free number to confirm the validity of the email notification. I felt for it but was quick enough to change my password before my account can be hijacked.

Why isn’t Yahoo smart enough to not put emails in the inbox that say “We are closing all old versions of our Mailbox”?

I agree. Can’t Yahoo itself screen out phishing email that relate to Yahoo?

Received this today. Have not, will not, act upon it. Though I intend to migrate to Outlook as Yahoo has annoying contact retrieval quirks that accompanied iterations beyond yahoo classic.

I have gotten 3 phishing emails over the past week - all look fairly official with the Yahoo image and wording from "yahoo team". However they ask you to click on a link to verify.

They look fairly official - I had to google to find out if this was aphishing email or not.

Here is a phishing attempt a user in our company received today. This was Microsoft Office 365 online email:
