Chrome Opinion Poll 2018 Annual Visitor Survey Scam

Hello,

I've read the blog but I was looking for how I can remove the annual server scum from my website, I think it's infected too.

This happened to me just now.

Here is a scamming website:

Others believe this to be a scam, so don't pass on your details.

I just became victim of this and I immediately called my bank to block temporarily my bank card.

Please advise what's the risk ?
can they access to all my email? bank? information on my phone?

Only if you have sent them your banking and email credentials (username and password). If that is the case, change your passwords.

And, if you have installed a malicious mobile app, they access your phone. If that is the case, check your mobile device for unknown apps and uninstall or remove them.

I am rarely ever duped but I kind of fell for the "Chrome" survey thing. There wasn't a snowballs chance that I would have given my personal info or purchased anything if I am supposed to receive a "free gift"!

I'm not that naive! I only got as far as answering the 4 questions and then my virus protection "Webroot" blocked me from being able to go any further even if I had wanted to.

It protected me from having my personal info compromised and being a victim! Whew...close one!

They want to cheat me today. please be aware about this.

Hello,

I took the Amazon survey. I selected as my gift the $1 iPhone. I put in my Visa card no and it was rejected. I put in another Visa card and that was rejected. I put in a 3rd Visa card and it was also rejected.

I have attached two pdf's that confirm I was signing up. I clearly have way more than $1 on each card.

It seems your bank blocked the transactions, but the scammers have your credit card information, so they will continue to attempt to charge it. Keep a keen eye on your credit card statements and report fraudulent transactions to your bank.

The scammers will contact you and attempt to trick you into sending them your money, credit card or financial information. Therefore, just be careful going forward.

I got this too and it's telling me that I can get a 1$ iPhone X or 1 Euro S8 or 1 euro Samsung TV. I put my name and address and postal code, I didn't put my card number or anything else. Is this bad?

No, once you didn't send your credit card information or other banking information, your are OK.

I just had it pop up that I won $1,000 amazon gift card for completing a short survey on Chrome. I answered the questions. But once it said I won. I became suspicious and x'd out. Am I still at risk?

There should be no danger unless you volunteered personal information about yourself.

How about me? I experience it on pinterest. When I click the reward there's a form that need (email, name, middle name, last name and others) on the form but I didn't continue it. I'm afraid that it can cause on me something...please reply as son as you read this.

I just got scammed, I was redirected to 2 other secure websites after I had put in the details of my card I got directed to another site which gave me account and login info to a subscription channel of polo sport which is obviously gotten from YouTube like WTH. had to cancel immediately but was charged $3

It didn't ask me for any of my credit card details but I did give them my email. Looks like I have to be careful for suspicious emails for now on. Website is very smart in showing pictures of the local supermarkets and pretending to be giving vouchers from them. Darn it.

I too got the text message and participated in the survey but at the point of sharing credit card information I quit and browsed about its authenticity. You cleared the doubt into reality.
