Here is another scam: "PAID TO DRIVE CONCEPT BY CRICKET WIRELESS Kindly Read & Understand Carefully Before Applying. Cricket Wireless® is seeking to employ individual’s world-wide who would like to make money by simply driving their car to their normal routine as they usually do and advertising for us. * * How it works? Here’s the basic premise of the "paid to drive" concept: Cricket Wireless seeks people - regular citizens,professional drivers to go about their normal routine as they usually do, only with a big advert for " Cricket Wireless Car Wrap Advert " plastered on your car or truck. The ads are typically vinyl decals, also known as "auto wraps,"that almost seem to be painted on the vehicle, and which will cover any portion of your car's exterior surface. * * What does the company get out of this type of ad strategy? Lots of exposure and awareness. The auto wraps tend to be colorful, eye-catching and attract lots of attention. Plus, it's a form of advertising with a captive audience, meaning people who are stuck in traffic can't avoid seeing the wrapped car alongside them. This program will last for 3 months and the minimum you can participate is 7 weeks. * * Compensation: You will be compensated with $500 per week which is essentially a "rental"payment for letting Cricket Wireless use the space no fee is required from you, Cricket Wireless shall provide experts that would handle the advert placing on your car/truck. You will receive an up front payment of $500 inform of check via courier service for accepting to carry this advert on your car. * * Note:- Updates might also come via text message to your phone"

Another fake email: "From: Dr, Bruce Smith Hiring Manager ® Date: May 29, 2019 at 1:06:59 PM CDT Subject: Re: PAID TO DRIVE CONCEPT BY CRICKET WIRELESS (R) [ # 2 ] Congratulations! You do qualify to carry the advert on your vehicle. CRICKET WIRELESS® Energy Drink will take full responsibility for placing and remove decal on your vehicle and it will not resort to any damage. However, we have outsource your payment to another Agency who are proudly supported by CRICKET WIRELESS® Energy Drink advert promo, so don't get alarmed by the check not coming directly from CRICKET WIRELESS® Energy Drink . Note: The Check payment will be sent to you to cover your first week salary of $500 and also the Specialist fund will be included and Instruction with details that will guide you on the proceeding for the decal to be placed as soon as the upfront payment has been delivered to you."

Here is another scam: - Forwarded message - From: Brant Eaton Date: Fri, May 3, 2019 at 5:26 AM Subject: Re: Cricket Wireless Car Wrap Advert [#257] Hello how are you doing today? Just want inform you that the payment( Check) will be deliver to you today. Here is the FedEx tracking number for the confirmation: 775092332539. Amount on the check is $3100. You are to take the Check to your Bank to have it deposit for 24hours till tomorrow/next business working day, when cash would be readily available. Once the payment is clear into your account. You will deduct $500 for your first week upfront payment. Then the rest of $2600 need to be send to the Graphic Artist Agent who is going to come and install the LOGO on your car. Kindly Confirm to us you receive this Email. So that the Graphic Artist agent information to send the rest of the money too Can be send to you immediately, Confirm to us you receive this Email and understand it. I will be waiting to read from you as soon as possible. Sincerely

The amount covers your first week pay ($500.00) and ($1500.00) for the installer's charges and all necessity needed for your car and to afford a mutual relationship between you and the detail-er which you will be sending to them after the check clears . Your subsequent pay check will be issued out at ($500.00) weekly after the wrap has been installed. Below are some questions you need to answer before we can proceed. How long do you intend to carry the advertisement on your car? One (1) month, two (2) months or three (3) months? Do you use your car everyday? They are pretty aggresive in trying to get you to deposit the check.

I just received an email from: yusefs.kad@gmail.com with the same thing almost verbatim. Glad I didn't do anything with them.
