212-552-5100 JP Morgan and Chase Zelle Scam Calls

Today, I received a suspicious call from telephone number 212-552-5100. The caller told me that someone recently opened an account with JP Morgan and that they used Zelle to make two $2,000 transactions. They asked if I was aware of these transactions and when I answered no, they gave me case#: JPM0044061326-Z and transfer me to add so-called Zelle department, where they attempted to get me to send $2,000 to cancel the previous transactions.

The second caller made it a point to say "Don't give any personal information" and that they're not going to ask for any they're just going to walk me through the process. At no point did the calls mention my name, address or say what my phone number actually is. The second caller did try to claim that all my information, including my SSN had been compromised.

Here is a similar complaint:

"Received a call from a number that matched JP Morgan Chase bank with a quick Google search 1 (212) 552-5100. Stated a Zelle account in my name was used to transfer $5,000 to Amanda Smith in Long Beach, California. Gave me a case ID # and cancellation ID #s. I was then suddenly transferred to a 2nd person who claimed to be from Zelle and asked me to log into my account so they could cancel the transaction.
This person had my name, phone number and previous addresses of residence. I kept explaining I don't have a Zelle account but he asked me to log into my bank account. I refused and asked how to deal with this another way.
He said I could go to the bank but I would still need to dispute with Zelle. When I asked for further instructions, because this wasn't making sense, the man became agitated and began yelling at me "I already told you what to do!" He ended the call shortly after this.
