Online Threat Alerts (OTA) - Alerting you to scams and frauds.
A few days ago, I received calls from telephone number 1 (704) 266-0807, where the callers claim I am a winner in the lottery. The callers ask for my personal information and claim I need to send money them in order for me to receive my lottery prize. Then, just yesterday, I received a call from the same number, where the caller claims he is from the IRS and claims I owe taxes. The caller threatens legal actions and arrests if I do not make payment. But, I know the IRS will never contact you via telephone or even threaten legal actions or arrest.
