I thought that I was buying 2 pairs of Dr.Martin shoes and I was scammed by cs@servicevip.com also off of Facebook
Ordered some Lego from LEGO-official.com, which looked fairly legit but when I checked my credit card statement online immediately after the purchase to see what denomination it was, I saw the company listed as “KITTYSOURCE”, which started my suspicion it was a bogus site and the whole thing was a scam. I got exact same confirmation email as everyone else from cs@servicecentervip.com and more bells started ringing. The site was supposedly having a flash sale with some great deals, which of course were timed & running out, so I had a brain-f**t and forgot the old expression; “of it’s too good to be true, it probably isn’t” and I stupidly made a purchase. Now I have to get my credit card company to cancel it & put a fraud alert on my card.
This is the order confirmation I fade from a fake little tikes ad placed on Facebook. Stupidly followed a FB link to intexoutlet.com. Made a purchase, wasn't till after I thought it looked abit off. Had the contact info of servicecentrevip so looks like a scam. Now my antivirus software has tagged it as a dangerous site(when I try go via Google). I have contacted my bank, who have cancelled my card and disputed the payment. I won't ever shop via a FB link again!
Did anyone file a chargeback for the purchases they did online with servicecentervip? I know no one knew the website they are shopping at was being operated by them behind the scenes. I filed a chargeback with my bank Yapı ve KredI Bankası, yet they won't be giving me my money back. My bank does not provide for the deterrent effect on frauds, unfortunately, but I wanted to learn how things are done in other countries? And I would appreciate any help on this matter to strengthen my case against my bank who help these scammers to proceed with their ill-gotten gains?
