Harvey Norman do not send TXT/SMS messages asking for any kind of information. If you have placed an online order, and requested us to when you checked out, we will send notifications when your order is ready to collect or shipped. We will never ask for information from you.

Harvey Norman will not:

  • Ask for payment information over the phone or via any link on email or SMS
  • Ask you to provide personal information such as date of birth over the phone or via any link on email or SMS

Harvey Norman will:

  • Sometimes call to verify an online order and that may involve confirming a small sample of numbers from your payment method — never the full details.

  • Be wary of offers that appear too good to be true – they probably are!
  • If in doubt, don’t click on links and definitely don’t give away your information.

I got 2 separate text messages

1/ saying l had won a competition.Would you believe (AN IPHONE 12 )(l believed it) as l had just purchased some products from Harvey Norman so l thought it was legitimate (WRONG) The message asked for CREDIT CARD DETAILS and Name & ADDRESS as that was how I was to pay POSTAGE and receive delivery of my prize (IPHONE12 )$3 for my so called prize that I had so called won ($3 postage WEIRD) .Well I had a think about it and thought (NOOOOOO) something didn’t seem quite right so,I had to cancel my credit card just to be sure they (whoever they are) can’t take any more money from the credit card (very inconvenient at xmas indeed) The second one l went to google to check for SCAMS and what do I find .”This site.Grrrr Why did I fall for it? Just a thought if “They “ who ever they are get a thousand times $3 they have made a nice little package of money for themselves just in the one day.l consider myself lucky “They”didn’t get anymore than $3.
